Every student gets a plan built around their pace, age, and goals — whether that's preparing for exams and recitals or building a lifelong love of playing.

  • Intermediate — Technique & repertoire development
  • Advanced — Exam prep, concerto study, performance
  • Adult learners — All paces welcome

Violin

Violin lessons follow the traditional European approach: strong foundations first — bow arm, intonation, and tone — then the orchestral and solo repertoire that makes the instrument sing.

Students work toward recitals, youth orchestra auditions, and, for the most dedicated, conservatory entrance.

  • Early strings — Ages 4–7
  • Intermediate — Position work, shifting, vibrato
  • Advanced — Concertos, chamber music, audition prep
  • Adult beginners — Welcome at any age

Cello

The cello has the warm, singing voice at the heart of any ensemble. Lessons build the physical foundations — posture, bow weight, left-hand frame — before opening up its full expressive range.

From Bach's cello suites to contemporary chamber music, students explore the instrument's whole repertoire.

  • Beginner — Ages 5 and up (smaller cello sizes for children)
  • Intermediate — Shifting, vibrato, thumb position
  • Advanced — Orchestral excerpts, solo repertoire

Drums &
Percussion

Rhythm is the foundation of all music. Drum lessons develop solid technique, reading skills, and a steady sense of time that makes any musician better.

From rock and jazz to snare technique, lessons meet students where they are and take them further.

  • Beginner — Stick control, basic beats, reading rhythms
  • Intermediate — Styles, rudiments, kit independence
  • Advanced — Ensemble playing, chart reading, studio technique
