Our Teachers

Romanian Musicians, European Training

Our teachers are Romanian musicians. Romania has one of Europe's strongest traditions of classical music education — demanding, thorough, and built on solid technique from the very first lesson.

We bring that approach to Charlotte, adapted for each student: young beginners, teenagers with big goals, and adults who've always wanted to learn.

How We Teach

Our Approach

Foundations first

Posture, technique, and reading done right from the start — so students don't have to unlearn habits later.

Real music, early

Students play real repertoire as soon as they're ready. Technique always serves the music, never the other way around.

High standards, warmly

We expect students' best and celebrate their progress. Parents get regular updates on how things are going.

Our Name

Who Was
George Enescu?

George Enescu (1881–1955), pronounced eh-NESS-koo, is widely regarded as Romania's greatest musician. He was a virtuoso violinist, a composer, a pianist, and a conductor — best known for his two Romanian Rhapsodies.

He was also a legendary teacher. His students included Yehudi Menuhin, one of the great violinists of the 20th century. We named our school after him because he stood for what we teach: serious technique in the service of real music.
